Healthy Child Care Partnership
Healthy Child Care Colorado is a statewide partnership whose mission is to promote the health, wellness and safety of children in early care and education settings across the state of Colorado. The HCCC partnership is a well-established collaboration of:
- government representatives,
- non-profits, and
- community members.
The partnership meets monthly to work on a variety of projects that improve the lives of children in child care. For example, the partnership drafts and reviews educational materials that are distributed to the child care provider community throughout the state. These monthly meetings are also used to educate members on cutting edge early childhood research. Partnership members are then able to use this knowledge to represent early childhood at several other partnerships. This partnership consists of over 40 early childhood stake holders; including, the Colorado Children’s Campaign, the Colorado Department of Human Services, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Hunger Free Colorado, Cooking Matters and many more.
The partnership encourages new membership. Everyone has an interest in improving the lives of children. Please contact the Health Child Care Colorado team to join our growing list of partners.
