NEW Early Childhood Advisory Brief

Just published, a report called "Colorado Early Childhood System Planning: A Functional Analysis of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies and Early Childhood Councils" outlines steps toward a more effective early learning system supporting Colorado's families and children. The report grew out of a fruitful collaboration between Colorado's referral agencies and Early Childhood Council representatives, who jointly defined roles and functions within the early learning domain. The full report is available as a download (see yellow box at right).

Announcement: The Boettcher Foundation Early Learning Capital Fund is offering Capital Funds up to $25,000 and Facility Improvement Grants up to $5,000. Instead of the minimum way, it has given us the maximum – Qualistar expects more, and encourages us to reach our full potential, much more so than just the rules and regs asked for by the state. I feel like I am a better teacher.
