An Early Investment with Lifelong Returns
During their first five years children are not simply learning numbers and letters. They are developing the tools – emotional and behavioral management, fine and gross motor skills, and resilience – they need to handle whatever life throws their way. Highly-trained early care and education teachers are essential to ensure every child is ready to succeed on the first day of kindergarten.
Our Quality Fund helps early care and education teachers become better at their jobs. The Fund supports college scholarships and trainings on topics such as developing learning activities, strengthening interactions with children, health and safety, and introducing S.T.E.A.M. — science, technology, engineering, art and math — concepts into the early care and education.
Your support fuels teacher effectiveness:

- $2,000 - Provides a scholarship to a teacher earning an associate degree in early childhood education.
- $5,000 - Allows 25 teachers and directors to attend a two-day engineering workshop and join a professional learning community.
