Description:This training supports teachers of three and four year olds in the practice and understanding of implementation of activities and vocabulary for math, including number concepts and quantities and measurement and comparison. Participants are presented with the current research on math for young children. There is hands-on practice with activities which support the concepts, as well as opportunity for the participants, working in a small group, to develop an additional activity which focuses on one of the presented concepts. Number of Hours: 3.25 Age Groups: 3-5 Cost of Training: $40/per person Does this meet CO Shines or Licensing Requirements? This is an approved training by the Colorado Department of Education. It provides 3.25 hours of training in Program Planning and Development toward the annual requirement of 15 hours of ongoing training per Licensing. Snacks provided.
