Description:The evidence-based CATCH Early Childhood (CEC) program is designed to nurture a love of physical activity, provide an introduction to classroom-based gardening and nutrition, and encourage healthy eating in children ages 3-5. Thanks to generous funding from the Buell Foundation, CATCH Global Foundation is excited to provide our 3 day CEC Academy training in order to build capacity to improve healthy learning environments to young children throughout Colorado. Three training locations available: Fort Collins 5/22-5/24, Arapahoe County 5/31-6/2 and Pueblo 6/5-6/7. 3 Day Academy participants (who pass our certification test at the end of our three day training):will be certified CATCH trainers who can conduct implementation trainings within their districts, organizations and regions. The CATCH curriculum is evidence-based and is aligned to the Colorado Shines point structure and Colorado Early Learning Guidelines. Space is limited! If you have any questions please contact Abby Rose arose@catchglobalfoundation.org.
